Rezt&Relax Featured on RenovAID Part 1

"I didn't know that just a simple renovation like this can lead a family to have a hope..."
-Mr. John Foo, Rezt & Relax Interior

Mediacorp's reality TV show RenovAID featured Rezt & Relax Interior in one of their episodes. Our very own Managing Director Mr. John Foo volunteered for the show to be able to help the needy and to give solutions for the problems of a family regarding their homes.

The Wong family was the chosen family to be granted the renovation for this episode. There are three generations of the Wong's living in one house - Mr. and Mrs. Wong, their son and his wife and 2 children. For designers, it is quite hard to design a space that will suit both the older and the younger generation but in this case there is much more constraint since Mr. and Mrs. Wong are both elderly and Mrs. Wong is bed ridden. The original form and design of the house made it difficult for the elderly to move around since there are a lot of clutters and their furnitures are scattered around the house.

Interior Designers: The People Behind the Success

Interior design is actually an art and science of transforming the interior of a space into something more efficient, comfortable and aesthetically pleasing. It includes the placement inside the space such as the windows, floor, lights, finishes, etc. The person in-charged in making all of these happen is the interior designer. The designer caters the needs of the customer so he must be flexible and at the same time, has his own ideas on how to carry out the desires of the customer.

An Introduction...

"...When you go back home from work you are very fragile so when you go back home you must have peace of mind... rest and relax."
-Mr Wilson Teh, Managing Director

We live in the era of fast-paced living. With all of the perks and advantages of living a city life, one of its downsides is that at the end of the day, work and other activities leave us tired and exhausted. No matter where we go all through out the day, eventually we go back to our home to rest and regain strength. Wouldn't it be nice if the home that you go back to is exactly the same place you want to just unwind and relax? No matter how big your place is if it wasn't designed properly, it loses its purpose of being your "comfort zone". That's when you need to Rezt & Relax.
