There is a saying that "The home is where the heart is". If that is true then you want your heart to reside in a place that you truly want for all your life. A place where you feel most comfortable to be at. Everyone of us has a dream home and we picture that somewhere in our brain. What if that dream is turning into a reality right in front of you?
Arthur Poh and Xavier Wong, very talented designers of Rezt & Relax, worked hard to transform a Maisonetter in Bedok Reservoir into an elegant, warm and cozy dream house and they let us get a sneak peak of how was it done. Here are some shots of the original design of the house:
To be able to maximize the space and to create a more beautiful environment, changes to the original design of the house must be made. If it need be, a complete renovation must take place.
Walls must come down and the floors were stripped as well as the ceilings to give way to a more appealing designs.
And then the dream slowly turn into a reality. With a new set of furniture and by using materials that fit the overall theme of the house, the place should give out a new feel and ambiance for the owners and everyone who will set foot in the house.
And finally, after 3 weeks of hard work, the end result is breath-taking. Anyone would be very happy and comfortable to live in a house like this:
